Understanding Sui objects

Sui represents on-chain state as objects with identifiers, versions and ownership rules. Integration designs must distinguish object authority from business approval and keep private evidence outside public-chain storage.

Applying the concept

Use object identifiers and versions when designing asset lifecycle references. Define who can update each record and how the application confirms the resulting transaction. A digital object does not establish the physical condition or legal title of an asset.
