Explorer guide: inspect the evidence before the record
A guide to questions that must be answered before using an explorer as evidence of network activity.
What the explorer shows
The RMOZ explorer lets authorised users and the public look up anchored events, issuers and record status for a given network.
Identify the network and environment
Before interpreting a result, confirm the network, the environment and how recent the data is. Results show when an event has reached finality and how any reorganisation is reflected.
Understand tokens, contracts and search limits
Token listings, contract inspection, source verification and address search support are unknown. Even where an explorer provides these functions, a displayed token is not proof of backing and published source is not an audit. Never infer legal rights or asset authenticity from a transaction display.
Check API access and safe usage separately
Explorer API endpoints, authentication and limits are provided in the documentation issued to each client. Always use the official addresses shared by RMOZ and never connect a wallet to an unofficial interface.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Can I search transactions, addresses, tokens or contracts?
The explorer supports searches by record, issuer and anchored event. Available search types depend on the network and are listed in the client documentation.
Does an explorer result prove a physical asset exists?
No. It shows the network record. The link to a physical asset is established by the issuer’s evidence and physical controls.
What if the explorer is unavailable?
Verification can also be performed through the API or the issuer’s verification page. Service status and support contacts are provided to each client.
