Traceability events with EPCIS
GS1 EPCIS provides a common approach to sharing visibility events across organizations. RMOZ traceability designs can map records to this standard while validating the authority and quality of each source.
Applying the concept
Model the product identifier, event time, location and business context together. Preserve corrections and source provenance. An event received from a partner is evidence to evaluate; it is not an automatic guarantee of product authenticity.
